Have an interest in hosting a memorable wine-tasting event in your home?  It's fun, it's easy, and it's inexpensive.

In the last few years, George has conducted or participated in a number of wine education events, from home winemaking to "Wine Appreciating 101."  George has a committed passion for helping others learn about wine, while helping them enjoy all that a good wine has to offer, including various health benefits.

Expensive?  Not at all.  For a small honorarium and the actual cost of the featured wines (WFV, commercial, or both), you can host George to provide your friends and/or family with some great wine trivia and education.  (cheeses, crackers, and perhaps other h'ors d'oeuvres/appetizers are recommended in addition to the tasting, but are the responsibility of the event host)

History

During the Christmas season in 2005, George presented his first wine-tasting program.  The featured wines consisted of the Walker Family Vintners 2004 vintages...Temecula Valley Syrah, Cucamonga Valley Old Vines Zinfandel, and the Kids' Crush (a blend of Syrah, Zin, and Cabernet Sauvignon).  Of course, the tasting presented a great opportunity to showcase the WFV line of distinctive gifts.

The three-hour program was a wonderful success.  George started off with an introduction of himself and his history and experience with wine making, followed by an interactive class on Wine Making and Wine Appreciation trivia.  After an opportunity for questions and answers, the group of 12 or so in attendance were introduced to the WFV wines.  After some sampling, the group was invited to sample another round, and another...until the sample bottles were empty.  The group was then invited to peruse and purchase WFV gifts.

Many thanks to this inaugural event's host, Robyn Caraway, who invited George to conduct his first program in her home.  Robyn is also an entrepreneur in her position as our local Representative for Creative Memories scrapbooking.  Thanks, Robyn, for your invitation and for your wonderful support!  Following are a few pictures of the event:
